The 2025 Ju-Jitsu World Championships kicked off in style at Bangkok’s Indoor Stadium Huamark, welcoming the world’s top ju-jitsu athletes for an action-packed opening day of the Adult divisions. With high intensity matches across the Fighting, Duo, and Show systems, the competition showcased exceptional skill, strategy, and sportsmanship from over 70 nations.

The opening day featured the Men’s Fighting categories (-77kg, -85kg, -94kg, +94kg) and Women’s Fighting divisions (-45kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg), along with the Duo Women and Show Open events, crowning the first set of world champions in this year’s edition.
