ADCC’s latest competitor list brings fresh names into focus before the September 12–13 World Championship.

Fight week is here, and the ADCC field is still worth checking.

The organization’s official roster, dated September 6, lists Nia Blackman in the women’s over-65-kilogram division and Mateusz Mazur in the men’s under-88-kilogram division. The World Championship is scheduled for September 12–13 at Tauron Arena in Kraków, Poland.

ADCC’s official competitor list confirms both entries. In a September 7 update, MMA Mania’s Anton Tabuena reported that Blackman and Mazur replace Gabi Garcia and Pedro Marinho, respectively. Neither replacement should be read as an explanation of why an athlete withdrew.

The field to watch

Blackman joins a listed field that includes Gabrieli Pessanha, Helena Crevar and Yara Soares. Mazur’s division includes Jozef Chen, Matheus Diniz and Chris Wojcik. These are roster entries, not confirmed first-round matchups.

ADCC also lists Kaynan Duarte against Yuri Simoes in the Super Fight. For the latest event details, consult the official championship page.

JJM Take

For fans, the useful question this week is who is actually stepping onto the mat. A familiar name on an older promotional graphic is not the same thing as a place on the current roster.

That distinction matters when you start talking matchups. A division can look very different after one late change, but a new entry does not tell us how the bracket will fall or who will advance.

Our advice: keep the official list handy, wait for confirmed brackets, and let the matches earn the headlines. There is plenty to discuss without turning an invitation list into a prediction presented as fact.

Event dates: September 12–13, 2026. Entries remain subject to change.
