UFC BJJ 2 Hits Las Vegas with Two Title Fights and a Stacked Card

UFC BJJ is back in Las Vegas for its second edition, and the lineup is loaded. Set for Thursday, July 31, the event features two title fights and some of the most exciting names in submission grappling. All streaming live on YouTube and UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, Andrew Tackett returns just weeks after capturing the inaugural UFC BJJ welterweight title, this time to defend it against none other than Renato Canuto. Both bring high-paced, crowd-pleasing styles, and neither has ever been in a boring match. Expect fireworks from start to finish.

The co-main delivers another belt on the line, as Mason Fowler a Caio Terra black belt with deep roots in no-gi competition takes on David Garmo for the first-ever UFC BJJ light heavyweight title. Fowler comes in with serious momentum after dominating at Submission Underground and racking up big wins on the UFC Fight Pass Invitational circuit. But Garmo isn’t coming in quietly. Fresh off a gold medal at the 2025 no-gi Brasileiros and known for his lethal guillotine, he’s more than capable of pulling off the upset.

Also on the card, William Tackett faces off with Kyle Chambers in a stylistic clash that’s sure to entertain. Chambers actually holds a 2018 submission win over Tackett, so there’s a little history in this one.

The event also highlights three standout women’s matches. Mo Black meets Raquel Canuto, a multi-time IBJJF No-Gi World champ. Aurelie Le Vern faces off with Maggie Grindatti-Lira in a powerful featherweight bout. And Tammi Musumeci makes her UFC BJJ debut against rising black belt Leilani Bernales.
