Winnipeg, Manitoba’s Logan MacDonald Logan MacDonald , a 20-year-old phenom and standout competitor from Balance BJJ MB, has qualified to represent Team Canada in the Adult Black Belt Male Under 76 kg division at the 2026 SJJIF World Cup in Tokyo, Japan.

MacDonald earned his place on Team Canada at the Canadian Open Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held on June 27, 2026, in Ottawa, Ontario, the official qualifying event for the 2026 SJJIF World Cup.

With his victory, MacDonald secured the opportunity to compete on the international stage as Canada’s representative in the Adult Black Belt Male Under 76 kg division.

The Sport Jiu-Jitsu Canada Federation congratulates Logan MacDonald on his qualification and wishes him the very best as he prepares to represent Canada in Tokyo this September. 🇨🇦🥋
